At Apple Blossoms, we're not your typical flower shop. Located on Main Street in downtown Spencer, across from the Price Chopper supermarket, we offer something different. Half our business is flowers. We process every stem that comes in, check everything multiple times before it goes out, and deliver within a 20-mile radius. The other half is our gift shop, featuring items from local makers.

Greg and Bart have been working together here for about four years. Greg's background is IT. He was sick of sitting at a desk all day and brought his technical skills to the flower shop. Bart has been in floristry for 30 years, right out of college. Together with our part-time designer who works about 15 hours a week, a front-end person who works 20 hours weekly, two drivers, and a high school student here on a work-study program, we keep things running smoothly.

We're connected with Winston Flowers in Boston. They depend on us for all their Central Massachusetts deliveries. When Winston needs someone to match their quality standards in our area, they send orders to us. Our work reflects that high-end aesthetic. We handled a wedding at Tatnuck Country Club where everyone in the shop helped with delivery and setup.

What makes us different: We carry candles, crystals, gems, home goods, toys for kids, and chocolates alongside our flowers. We're building two customer bases because you can't really survive just on flowers. We process all our flowers when they come in (some shops around us don't), which helps them last longer. We work with any budget for funerals. We even donated the casket piece when a family lost their child. Our delivery fees are under $10 throughout our radius, from Spencer to the Brookfields, Leicester, and toward Worcester. For weddings, we charge a $100 non-refundable consultation fee that can be applied to the wedding flowers.
